Friends of Chicago Foundation fully support the idea to establish Children’s Interactive Center for Science and Technology TechnoMagicLand in Sofia, Bulgaria in 2015. Sofia really needs such a place where the new generation could examine past experiences and could explore cutting edge technologies to peek into the future. We are going to do our best to build a bridge between the Museum of Science and industry in Chicago and the Children’s Interactive Center for Science and Technology TechnoMagicLand in Sofia in order to facilitate the process of transfering good practices and american experience for the benefician of bulgarian children who are fond of STEM (science, technology, engenering and mathematics).
Philip Simmons, American composer and conductor, is Artistic Director of the American Music Festivals. In the essay, he shares his inspiring experience of almost ten-year-long cooperation with Bulgarian musicians from Sofia, Razgrad and Varna.
